Silverpaw sighed, "My mentor is too tired to train me today."
Treepaw replied, "Why don't you come with me? I was planning to go near the ShadowClan border."
"Your not going past the border, right?"
"No! Of course not!"
"Then I'll come."
"How about Goldpaw?"
"She can't come; she's talking to Greyflower about something."

The two apprentices trotted toward the end of the Thunderclan territory. Because the ShadowClan scent marker's smell was so faint, the two apprentices went past the border by accident. They headed deeper in ShadowClan territory. "I wonder where the border is, and I never knew ThunderClan owned this territory," Treepaw wondered.
"We don't," Silverpaw growled.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't you smell that stench? It's ShadowClan!"
"There's intruders in our territory!" Treepaw spat.
"No! We're the intruders! We accidentally went past the border."
"Oh."
"I knew I should have never came; you're such a mouse-brain."
"Calm down, Silverpaw. Let's just go back the way we came," Treepaw exclaimed.
"Oh, I don't think so," an angry she-cat growled. The she-cat appeared out of a nearby bush. She reeked of ShadowClan.
She's been spying on us! Silverpaw thought.
"What are you doing on ShadowClan territory?" she-cat growled.
"It was an accident! This wouldn't have happened if you would renew your scent markers more often," Treepaw protested.
"You are still on our territory," the she-cat pounced on Treepaw. She sank her teeth deep in Treepaw's shoulder.
Treepaw let out a cry of pain. Silverpaw scratched the warrior, and Treepaw managed to escape. At that moment Silverpaw and Treepaw both pounced on the ShadowClan warrior, and sank their claws in her hind leg.
the she-cat hissed and retreated toward the ShadowClan camp.
"Let's get out of here....NOW!" Silverpaw said to Treepaw.
Treepaw nodded, and the two apprentices headed back toward the ThunderClan camp.
